To commemorate its inaugural year, The Children’s Ballet of San Antonio CBSA is performing one of classical ballet’s most time-honored productions. Sleeping Beauty is based on the Brothers Grimm version of this classic fairy tale in which the beautiful Princess Aurora is cursed by the evil fairy Carabosse to sleep for 100 years, but then saved by the Lilac Fairy’s spell, which allows her to be awakened by true love’s kiss.
