Ansel Adams: Distance and Detail, offers an opportunity to view 29 of Adams’ works including pieces as well known as Moonrise over Hernandez alongside his lesser known studies of architectural subjects such as the Spanish Catholic Missions in Arizona. The exhibition combines the distant views for which Adams is exalted as well as his lesser known work showing close-up and personal interpretations of the photographer's complete vision of the natural world. The exhibition is free with Briscoe Museum admission.
