Solidify Your Plans for Labor Day Weekend with the World Heritage Festival

If you hope to get more connected to your surrounding community, join neighbors and friends at the annual World Heritage Festival! Kicking off on September 5th at the Alamo Mission, this beloved festival promises great times for all ages.
The World Heritage Festival is an annual collaborative event to celebrate and promote our San Antonio Missions, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Festival is a five-day celebration spread throughout the five San Antonio Missions and surrounding area and offers something for everyone, while providing funding for nonprofit organizations and projects that preserve, maintain, promote, and connect.

The festival occurs after Labor Day weekend and overlaps with the Organization of World Heritage Cities, Solidarity Day of World Heritage Cities that occurs annually on September 8.

The Organization of the World Heritage Cities was created on this date and urges the administration of each member city to take advantage of this day to stress the important responsibility of the city to protect as well as promote the world heritage and especially the privilege of having a part of that heritage in their city.

Events associated with the festival will take place at various locations across the city. Admission is free. For a full listing of events, visit www.worldheritagefestival.org.

We know you love your home at Oxford at Estonia Apartments in San Antonio, Texas, but it’s important to stay active and involved in your community. Attending this event is the perfect chance for you to journey outside your comfort zone to meet new people and seek new opportunities.
