See a Note-Worthy Performance Courtesy of the San Antonio Chamber Choir

What can be better than starting the season with the marvelous songbirds of San Antonio? The Children’s Chorus of San Antonio’s premiere ensemble, Encore, will join with the San Antonio Chamber Choir to perform the American premiere of Owain Park’s Footsteps. It’s all happening on Sunday, September 30th at University United Methodist Church!

Other featured pieces will include Jake Runestad’s compelling "Come to the Woods," based upon the writings of John Muir; Runestad’s, poignant "Let My Love Be Heard"; David Brunner’s touching "The Circle of Our Lives"; Jeremy Fox’s jazz setting of "Amazing Grace," and another combined work, "Hava Blessing," by Artistic Director Rick Bjella.

As a resident company of the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, Children’s Chorus of San Antonio’s commitment to artistic excellence, social inclusion, and individual responsibility empowers young singers to embrace and explore a broader, more positive view of self and the world. Under the direction of Artistic Director Ryan Garrison, CCSA’s citywide community choruses in conjunction with its early childhood music program provide inspirational and transformative musical experiences for hundreds of young people from birth through young adulthood.

Don’t miss this heartfelt collaborative concert! Tickets start at just $25 and may be purchased online, over the phone, or at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts box office.
